Walter Kaberline

Walter J Kaberline, 72, of Redding, California, passed away on September 13, 2023. Born on August 20, 1951, in Fresno, California, Walter was a man known for his strong work ethic, honesty, and dedication to his family. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones.

 

Walter was a man's man, always choosing to repair things rather than buy new ones. He believed in the value of hard work and instilled these values in his children. To his daughters Melissa West and Bianca Erickson, he was kind, gracious, and loving. He made sure to pass on his love for family and his core values to them. Walter was also a proud grandfather to Michael, Justin, Nathan, Alexander, Jack, and Allen, as well as great-grandfather to Cora and Rae. Walter also leaves behind two sisters,  Patricia Bramstedt and Marlene Blue. He cherished spending time with his family and made many wonderful memories together.

 

In his professional life, Walter had a successful career. He dedicated 32 years to J.M. Smucker's maintenance and an additional 4 years with the Carmel School District. His hard work and commitment were evident throughout his career.

 

Outside of work, Walter had a passion for fishing, camping, family gatherings, and watching NASCAR. These hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to relax and enjoy time with his family and friends. 

 

A memorial service to celebrate Walter’s life will be held on October 20, 2023 at 11:00AM. at the Fresno Funeral Chapel. The Fresno Funeral is assisting the family with the arrangements.
